Informational Town Hall Meeting Regarding Proposed Women's Shelter
In December, we began discussions with one of our community partners, The Religious Community of the Sisters of Notre Dame, to potentially lease a facility on the SND property on Bean Road in Munson Township to provide temporary shelter for up to ten homeless single women.
A zoning meeting was scheduled to obtain the necessary variance, and residents were notified about the meeting. We discovered through community feedback that it would be beneficial to provide more information to residents before making an appeal to the zoning board for a final decision.
To that end, Geauga Faith Rescue Mission will hold an informational Town Hall meeting, which will include a presentation, followed by a Q&A session with the public.
