Geauga Faith Rescue Mission is a non-profit, faith-based organization that relies on the generous support of our community to continue its work. There are many ways you can get involved. Thank you in advance for helping us provide a safe, structured living environment and supporting residents on their path to stability.
I want to provide food or supplies for the shelter. What do I need to know?
PROVIDE MEALS
If you’d like to provide meals for our guests, please sign up on our Meal Train or contact us directly.
Meals can be dropped off at the side door by the driveway. We in need of dinners and sack lunches for our guests.

Meals should be prepared to serve eight. Please contact us in advance to confirm the current number of guests.
Note: All meals must be delivered precooked

You are welcome to stay and fellowship with our guests or simply drop off the meal.

- Dinner is served at 6:00 PM; please deliver meals between 5:30 to 5:50 PM.
- Shelter location: 339 Washington St., Chardon, OH.
- Guest numbers fluctuate but will not exceed eight.
- Please be sure to sign up on our meal train or contact us directly so we can plan accordingly.
Donate food
Nonperishable food items can be dropped off at the front door of the shelter anytime. For perishable items, please call the shelter at 440-214-9916 before dropping them off.
Donate Other essential Items
We are currently in need of adult clothing, Walmart and Aldi gift cards, fuel cards, and household essentials such as laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, and toothbrushes. Donations may be dropped off at any time in front of our building at 339 Washington St., Chardon, OH. If you would like a receipt for your tax-deductible donation, please contact us to arrange a drop-off time
